Tony Stark is the owner and creator of the fully powered Iron Man Costume. Mr. Stark is a billionaire, ladies’ man and for all intents and purposes an out and out genius. Starks story begins when he is kidnapped and suffers a chest wound that severely damages his heart. During his captivity Stark manages to create a replacement for his damaged heart along with a super powered suit that allows him to escape from his kidnappers.
This storyline was created by the now famous Stan Lee the creator of so many Marvel superhero legends. The red and gold Iron Man costume with all of its weapons and ingenious devices has come to symbolize what one person can accomplish when they put their mind to it. Iron Man also ranked 12th in the top 100 comic book heroes of all time in 2011 and with a third movie slated for release in 2013 it doesn’t look like his popularity will fade anytime soon.
In the 40 plus years that the Iron Man costume has been around it has gone through numerous changes before arriving at the slick piece of technology that it is today.
